Our church covenant is the guiding force behind who we are and who we strive to be.

The Kenbridge Baptist Church is composed of a body of believers who have been brought by divine grace to receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord through the power of the Holy Spirit of God. We covenant together, through the Holy Spirit’s power, to be a redemptive body in Christ that walks together in brotherly love.

We will seek to lead each other to grow in Christian maturity through worship, fellowship, and education.

We will not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, nor omit our great duty of prayer, both for ourselves and for others.

We will share in each other’s joys and will seek with tenderness and sympathy to bear each other’s burdens and sorrows.

We will seek to bring up our children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

We will seek with God’s help to walk circumspectly and watchfully in the world denying ungodliness and worldly lust.

We will seek to bear witness to the gospel of Jesus Christ and to minister to the total needs of persons in order to bring them into harmony with God’s purpose.

We will work together in so far as God prospers us, for the support of a faithful evangelical ministry among ourselves and for the spread of the gospel throughout this world.

We will seek daily by example and effort to live for the glory of Him who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.
