The next two Sundays are going to be exciting and busy times at KBC!  I want to take this chance over email to let you know what all is happening, and when:

Sunday, Nov. 14
10:00am    Sunday School
11:00am    Worship
3:00pm      BRIDGE Event at Kenbridge Episcopal (see information below)
4:00pm      Called Business Meeting – Overton Gift Recommendations from the Endowment Committee (see below)
4:00pm      Rehearsal for Children’s Musical, “Back to the Manger”
6:30pm      Handbell Rehearsal
7:30pm      Adult Choir Rehearsal

Sunday, Nov. 21
10:00am    Sunday School
11:00am    Worship (shortened service)
11:45am    Overton Gift Celebration Service
12:15am    Covered-Dish Luncheon at KBC
4:00pm      Rehearsal for Children’s Musical
7:00pm      LUMINA Community Thanksgiving Service at IHBA (bring canned food and/or offering for Ministries)

As you can see, we have two busy Sundays ahead!

First, a word about the called business meeting next Sunday:  This meeting was called to discuss the many requests that were submitted for the Overton Gift.  This will be a full meeting, with some complicated issues to wade through and decisions to be made.  Please come prayerfully and mentally prepared!

Finally, a reminder about the latest BRIDGE event this coming Sunday:

Hello!  I want to remind you all of our next Bridge event which is this Sunday November 14th at the Episcopal Church in Kenbridge.  The fun starts at 3:00 pm.  We will be working on a great mission project for Operation Christmas Child.  Shoe boxes, items to fill the shoe boxes, and $7.00 donations are appreciated.  We will also enjoy Ice Cream Sundaes!  We hope to see you there!

We’ll gather at 6:00 for dinner and a fun time of decorating the church together “family-style.” We’ll also take a few minutes to talk about the reasons we decorate, and what the different decorations represent.
