Special Events

We’ll be celebrating in all kinds of ways throughout the year, but special events will include:

• March 25- Fred Anderson from the Virginia Baptist Historical Society will visit and deliver the message
• April 22 – We’ll celebrate 100 years of worship through music, with a worship service dedicated solely to special music and hymn singing
• April 29 – Centennial Sunday – Special guests from KBC’s history will be present to help celebrate the 100th Anniversary.  Dr. John Upton, executive director of the VBMB and president of the Baptist World Alliance, will deliver the message.

Souvenirs

The following souvenirs will be available for purchase:

• Cookbook – A cookbook of collected recipes from the church family, past and present.  The cookbook, “Bountiful Blessings” will be available for sale in early spring for a price of $15.
• Ornament – 100th Anniversary Christmas ornaments are available now, and are $15 each (see the image at right)
• History – A book detailing the church’s history, through stories and pictures, will be available in the spring.  More information will follow.
